gee-i-dub

Girls Is Wack (gee-i-dub, GIW) this may seem like a reach back to high school days, and well it is but so what. This old school acronym has come full circle again. I find myself realizing more than ever how true that simple little phrase was. Girls in today's day and age are crazier than ever. I see them everyday, walking around just like normal people, talking on cell phones, big ass sunglasses, little dogs in purses and whatnot. I wonder if in ten years these "trendy" women will look back and say to themselves, "What was i thinking keeping a dog in my purse?? That's hardly sanitary." I understand the need to look good and have the latest in current fashion trends, but to me that seems just a little wack. Little dogs and sunglasses that cover your entire face aren't the only ways Girls Is Wack these days.

I can appreciate a girl scantily clad standing in line at a club as much as the next guy, but as I enjoy the show along with thirty other guys waiting in line, I can't help but wonder what kind of person are you really, dressed liked that? I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't enjoy it. It just begs the question, how easy is that chick?? Of course my mind can't but help wander... But that's not all, it's the attitude that goes with it - the I'm a princess, I need a prince - thought process that really gets me. Their outfit is saying one thing but their attitude is saying another. Like an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. The devil is saying "Lets party and get drunk, wooohoo spring break!!" While the angel is saying, "I'm a smart intelligent young woman, I make well thought out decisions...but it is spring break after all" This is wack. You dress one way, but act another. I'm sure I'm just generalizing women and all that crap, but honestly I don't care.

I'm sure you have all seen it, the guy trying to dance with a girl who is clearly out of his league, only he doesn't know it and he's getting an A for effort. He has that big goofy grin on his face, while the girl looks around nervously for her friends to save her. I like to watch these situations and smirk and laugh mockingly. Usually I tell my friends around me and we all watch and point and laugh. As entertaining as it is for me and for my friends, I can't help but feel a little bad for the guy. I mean he just sees a hot girl, who is a little drunk and not wearing much. How is it his fault for wanting to go up to her and rub himself on her?? What does she really expect being all attractive and stuff? If she didn't want creepy guys to try to rub up on her then she shouldn't have went out wearing the mini skirt with the mini top.

This leads me to one conclusion, although the look of revulsion and disgust conveyed on her face is clearly a realistic representation of her feelings, she enjoys the attention she may get from it. But only wants the attention that is the "right" kind of attention. The kind of attention that involves the Tom Brady butt chin, and a wallet that has a difficult time closing due to the large amount of one hundred dollar bills in there. This is why Girls Is Wack. I have seen many girls often take an irrational thought and rationalize it to suit their best interests. Example: eating an entire bag of Oreos and saying "it's OK because I ran today" Example: thinking it's OK to cheat on a boyfriend just because you love him, but you're not in love with him. Just to be clear a rational thought is this, if I were to go out wearing tight pants to show off my bulge, and a tight shirt revealing my chiseled muscles, I would expect to get a ton of attention from uggoz as well as non uggoz. Rational. For some reason girls expect to only attract good looking guys who are sensitive, thoughtful, and have money. Irrational thought. Girls Is Wack. Rational thought.
